Meaningful Alternative Text

We talked a lot about alternative text, and I don't want to belabor this for long, but just as a reminder, yeah, this is also a content creator thing that they need to think about, like what's the right alternative text for this item.

And as the example, I like this example from W3C, which is basically like, oh, you know, charging phone on the left as the alternative text.

And the image actually shows the cable from being plugged in to the bottom of the phone.

So it's pretty clear that it's not like charging phone is not really the equivalent to this.

to this image. And the right one, the informative alternative text, is plug cable into the bottom edge of the phone,

which makes a lot more sense and also gives you more of a spatial awareness if you can't see the image.
