SC 1.2.1 Audio Video Only
audio only and video only. So this should actually be two success criteria. And of course, it is not.
Basically, these are the requirements for audio only and for video only content. So if you look
at 1.2.1, audio only and video only pre-recorded. So this is only for recorded content. This is not
for live content. It's level A and it basically says that if you have pre-recorded audio only,
then you have to have an alternative for time-based media that presents equivalent
information for pre-recorded audio only content. And alternative for time-based media is basically
document including correctly sequenced text descriptions of time-based visual and auditory
information and providing means for achieving the outcomes of any time-based interaction.
So basically this alternative needs to describe everything that's happening visually and auditory.
And for pre-recorded video, if you have video that is only video, no audio there, then you want to have a description like above.
Or you want an audio track that describes what's happening on the video.
So basically someone narrating what's happening on the screen, an audio description.
That applies to audio only and video only.
